Frayser Addresses Public Safety & Blight in Community Forums

October is Crime and Fire Protection month in the Frayser community.  In honor of this theme, the Frayser community will be hosting forums addressing public safety this Saturday, October 12, 2013.  One forum will involve 25 Square, a City of Memphis initiative to fight blight, at Arkwings Conference Center this Saturday at 9 a.m.  The Frayser Neighborhood Council will have its monthly council meeting at 11 a.m. this Saturday at Innovation Church, located at 3925 Overton Crossing.  Immediately following the council meeting will be a workshop associated with Frayser 2020 dealing with the issue of public safety and what the community can do about it.   Refreshments will be provided during the Frayser Neighborhood Council public safety workshop.  Each forum is open to the public. .
